Our philosophy at the Bellbrook Artists Collective is that art should be affordableto encourage our community to have the excitement of owning a special piece that speaks to them. We also believe local artists should be supported by providing them affordable art or photography studio space to create.
Though our art gallery is still undergoing renovations, we hope to open very soon. John Landsiedel, a Dayton artist and nationally known master artist for over 50 years has purchased the building across Dots Market in Beavercreek. His desire to mentor and pass his experience on to other local artists is what drives him to make sure that art is kept art alive in Dayton.
John is also very passionate about the community having an opportunity to experience creating art for themselves through community art classes. These classes are $35-$40 which includes all your supplies. Elaine Balsley teaches acrylic painting, paint your pet, and drawing classes. Andi Sanders teaches the mesmerizing art of alcohol ink painting. Private classes for a small group of friends are offered by reserving time during the weekdays or evenings as well.
This spring we plan to have lots of outdoor community activities such as music, childrens activities, art shows and goodies to eat to name a few. We hope you will join us on the weekends and get to know all of us!
Our opening will be announced on Facebook, Instagram and here on our website!
We are so excited to meet all our followers on Facebook and Instagram (over 700!)...thank you for supporting and encouraging us to continue with our passion!
See you soon!
John, Jacqueline, Andi and Elaine
